Practitioner Profile
Meet Meghan
Helping children and families navigate the path to confident communication through expert, heart-centered care.
Experience & Approach
Hi, I’m Meghan, a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist with experience supporting infants, children, adults, and families across medical, school, home, and teletherapy settings. I specialize in providing individualized, evidence-based speech therapy that is both effective and compassionate.
Educational Background & Expertise
I earned my Master of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology from The George Washington University and my Bachelor of Arts in Hearing and Speech Sciences from University of Maryland. I am licensed to practice in New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania.
My clinical experience spans early intervention, pediatrics, and adult populations. I work with young children and toddlers to support early language development, play skills, feeding-related communication, and caregiver coaching during this critical window of growth. I also provide therapy for speech sound disorders, language delays, social communication differences, fluency disorders, literacy challenges, cognitive-communication impairments, swallowing difficulties, and individuals who use augmentative and alternative communication (AAC).
Therapeutic Approach & Advocacy
My approach to therapy is highly personalized. I believe meaningful progress happens when therapy is engaging, culturally responsive, and rooted in real-life communication. I prioritize collaboration with families and caregivers, providing practical strategies that support carryover into daily routines and environments.
In addition to my clinical work, I have experience advocating for students and families within educational systems, including providing professional testimony to support access to appropriate speech-language services. This advocacy-centered perspective carries into my private practice, where I work closely with clients and caregivers to ensure therapy goals align with their values, priorities, and daily lives.
Customized Care & Services
I offer private pay services to allow for flexibility, individualized attention, and therapy that is not limited by insurance constraints. Sessions are thoughtfully designed to support functional communication, confidence, and measurable progress.
If you’re looking for a therapist who is knowledgeable, approachable, and deeply invested in you or your child’s success—especially during the early years of development—I would be honored to work with your family.
